Güglingen has been interested in opening contacts to other European towns and to form town partnerships for several years.

At the beginning of 2002, interested citizens began the search and found partners in Auneau (France) and Dorking ( England ).

The committee of Güglingen founded the organization Partners in Europe Güglingen on Feb.17 th 2006, and has been working hard to confirm the partnership with the above mentioned towns.

The discussions and negotiations have developed well after various meetings and visits in both directions.

The English delegation of Dorking has Güglingen visits of 21 st - 23 rd July. The town-partnership-document was signed on 21 July.

Güglingen will return the visit to Dorking from 21 st –23 rd September, and will sign the document in England.
